rhyming's timing, just as much as
buying's lying -
buying into theft and mass deception

drifting and sifting
the narrative's imperative
propels and compels us,
captive in its spell
you follow it by will
or it will bypass your consent

watching and sitting
reacting to the acting
unaware reacting's acting
but acting unaware
and inept in attempting
to suspend the end
the conclusion's been drawn already
as you're ready to draw your own
you start to own your situation
